Wrexhams Firm?

Im just going through episodes of the welcome to wrexham documentary. Good viewing, they just had an episode dedicated to hooliganism, one fella on there who got involved in the hooligan element said “wrexham have a good firm if you like”
Was just interested to hear peoples views on this comment, and historically did wrexham ever have a good firm compared to us, other welsh clubs and on the whole?

Wrexham games up there definately had an edge.

By all accounts, and not really knowledgeable on the current 'firm' scene, but it seems that they have had a huge rise in followers, and, now being classed as 'news' brings out the best and worst!

Back in the day though it was just another spicey game as most of them were to me!

Sometimes None at all, brought 20 once to Cardiff.
Up there max turned out against us 40-50.
Cardiff had way way to bigger numbers so Cardiff would take the place over.


Against many other smaller clubs Wrexham will turn up with about 80-100.

Always had a good turnout for Wales.

Nice one annis. More a match for maidstone united firm than the mighty cardiff then, theres only one team in wales haha

Haven’t got a clue what firm Wrexham had, but I remember watching Wales v USSR at The Racecourse about 81. Full house and City fans took over their Kop.

The number of times I went to Wrexham I saw none of them. Saying that they did bring a few to Cardiff for the Welsh cup final in the mid 70s. They congregated between the Canton and Bob Bank corner. Only time I have seen any of them.

I thought Wrexham were ok at home. The kicked the shite out of me one time and nicked my shoes the fookers. They did bring a coach load for the welsh cup final once, but got battered. Fair play to them though
