None for Ollie Tanner (York City) as was not even named in the squad for his respective club York City last weekend.

Watched him play for 14 minutes as a sub for York against Eastleigh tonight. Offered nothing to suggest he is anything other than an average non-league player.

I think The Committee and the local media tried to pull the wool over our eyes.

I said at the time my friend who is the manager of a club in the same league, said that Tanner was maybe at best one league higher, lower non league.
I said it at the time and was shot down for it.

It was a cheap gamble. His first attempt at a pro club.

Next season is the big one for him.
Hes had a year to adjust.

Actually if we go down all these cheap players were a very expensive gamble in the long run.

Tanner should of gone st least to a league 1 club, not a struggling Non league club.

Have to agree. If he'd done well in League 1, we could have said 'Ok, he's not far off'. Doing well at York (if he does) will not help a great deal imo.
