These players were described by Glen Williams as real potential for Cardiff City and Quality.
Some were virtually described as real stars of the future.
Unfair on the players themselves and our fans.



Kieron Evans aged 21 (suspended) out on loan Non League Strugglers Torquay United.

Max Watters aged 24 this month (suspended) struggling to get in League 1 Barnsley’s team, scored 1 / 5 appearances. For the Bluebirds 1 goal / 21 appearances.


Ollie Tanner aged 20 out on loan at Non League Strugglers York City, but has been struggling to get games.

Dillon Phillips aged 27 (currently on their bench as sub) playing for a Belgium team.

James Crole aged 19 struggling to get game time at Non League strugglers Torquay.

Tom Davies aged 19 has made 2 appearances for Welsh club Pontypridd United.


Jack Leahy aged 20 on loan to Welsh Club Haverfordwest (played 77mins against Ponty)


Plus Eli King aged 20 has returned from League 1 Crewe on January 1st, but as of yet has been unable to make any of the first team match day squads.

Chaka Zimba aged 21 returned earlier from his loan at League 2 Newport County but is currently in and out of Cardiff’s U21 team.

In fairness, Kieron Evans is having a very good loan stint with Torquay (albeit in National League) and Max Watters did well last season at MK Dons.

Makes me laugh this "youngsters" tag on most of them the big media build up about them then you see pontypridd and tanner can't even get off the bench for York ffs says it all. Like I've said before if they ain't playing regular 1st team football by 20 at any decent level there not good enough in most cases they can't be that good otherwise they would be at div 1 and div 2 clubs already yet can't get regular games at half amateur clubs in Wales some times. Baffles me.

I got slagged down for being so honest 2 yrs ago.
Those sane posters have all gone underground now.

It was beyon what Glen Williams & Dalman Aka Boris have been doing make out all these players were quality so that fans would not moan because hardly any money was being spent.

They thought we were all mugs believing their crap.

Williams is still doing it now though.

James Crole got sent back to cardiff last week not on loan there anymore

Interesting to see what happens to these players next season

Oostende's goalkeeper Dillon Phillips is currently on loan from Cardiff City but has fallen out of favour.

' Loan players' barren weekend '

Last weekend was not a fruitful one for Cardiff City's players out on loan.

Of the seven players the Bluebirds currently have out on loan across the country, just one player played any part for their club team.

Kieron Evans, who has been in good form for non-League side Torquay United, was suspended for the game against Southend United at the weekend, following a yellow card totting-up offence.


Max Watters, meanwhile, was serving the last game of his three-match ban, which he picked up in Barnsley's win over Cambridge United last month, meaning he was also absent for the Tykes' 4-1 win over Derby County.


None of Ollie Tanner (York City), Tom Davies (Pontypridd United) nor James Crole (Torquay United) were named in the squads for their respective clubs.

Dillon Phillips appears to have lost his place between the sticks for Belgian club KV Oostende, having had a run of 12 games in goal, he has been on the bench for the last three matches.

Jack Leahy, playing for Cymru Premier side Haverfordwest County, is the only player who got minutes under his belt, playing 77 minutes in the side's 2-1 loss against Pontypridd.

It’s a shocking read and the bullshit from those at our club and local media has to stop, as they make out these players are quality.
