Certainly we may be relegated , but now I believe we will not !



(1) With 12 games to go (or 13 for some) there are 7 clubs who are fighting it out to avoid the drop….. 3 below us and 3 above (QPR and Birmingham have been sucked in).


(2) Lamouchi knows the score and knows that it’s a dog-fight …and is doing the right thing “with what he’s got” .



(3) He has gone far more direct than under Morison and Hudson ….not quite Warnock or McCarthy ….but not too far from that. He wants us to defend very well and in numbers when we don’t have the ball ….but to press press press to win it back ….and when we do ….get the ball in their box as quickly as possible . You can tell that we are having far more shots on goal than before.


(4) He has also gone with more experienced players and in the main discarded the young ones from our youth team .


(5) I believe that if we stay up it will be because of our good and organized defending . That is our strongest point. Our keeper though is the weaker link in that department … a good close range shot stopper ….but not so good from shots from outside the box.


(6) Our mid-field and wide players are ok. Borderline …not good and not bad .


(7) Our forward line remains our weakness . To me our key strikers are Robinson (out for few games now) and Wickham . Also Etete is showing promise when he comes on .



Personally , I do not rate Kaba. Harris , Davies and so far we have been unable see how good Colwill really is? (as a 10) are not for me ….and so far not for Lamouchi either.

Birmingham and QPR seem to be getting poorer and poorer .


The three below us are really fighting … but we must not forget that we have a 4 point cushion ….and that is a lot ….considering that they have to win two more games than us to overtake us ….when not so many games are left.

Agree with you on most of the post annis, just for me the jury is still out on kaba and I absolutely love his enthusiasm to be here and I do believe Davies will make the grade. He's got the pace to worry opposition and could be a handful. Not had the best season injury wise this year

Two wins out of the last three has given us hope. It proves we can win, at a time when winning another gams seemed a million miles away.

For me, any team currently outside of the bottom three that can put a two game winning streak together between now and the end of the season will be safe.

For me from day one, We were never going to even touch the play-offs from day one.

I agree with your comments apart from Kaba.

I’m not totally convinced by him yet but he does have a presence and if he can improve at the rate that Etete has then he may well have enough to keep us up.

I am a Colwill fan but maybe we have to forget him for this season. Every time he gets a few uninterrupted weeks of training he suddenly seems to pick up another 2-3 week injury. At this stage in the season I just can’t see any manager wanting to risk inexperienced players in the first XI.
