Free agent in the summer apparently. All depends which league we end up in though I suppose

Cardiff watching Johnston:

Cardiff City are reportedly among a number of clubs watching Motherwell star Max Johnston.

The Daily Record claims a scout for the Bluebirds was in attendance at Motherwell's clash with Hearts on Sunday to cast their eye over the right-back, who can also play in midfield.

It's claimed City are among a number of clubs to have shown an interest recently, with Championship rivals Sheffield United, Luton Town and Preston all believed to be tracking the Scotland youth international.

The 19-year-old is heading into the final four months of his deal in North Lanarkshire, and has emerged as a key player for Motherwell since returning from his loan at Cove Rangers.

If he ends up being as good as another Scottish full back we got from Aberdeen then I'd be happy!

Ahh, SuperKev.....

Not the finished article but would be a good signing, there’ll be a lot of clubs vying for him as he’ll be a free agent.

Premier League outfit Brighton are among the clubs watching Motherwell prospect Max Johnston, according to The Sun.

Cardiff scout Alex Stafford was in attendance at Motherwell's clash with Hearts on Sunday to cast his eye over the right-back, who can also play in midfield.

And it appears if City are serious about him, then they could have to fight off a pitch from Brighton as well as many of their divisional rivals in the summer.
