Cardiff loanee Kieron Evans aged 21 starred as Non League Torquay improved their survival prospects by beating play-off contenders Barnet in the National League.

Torquay are struggling near the bottom of the National Non League

Evans teed up Aaron Jarvis to give his side the lead in the 18th minute, before crossing for Tope Fadahunsi to score two minutes before the break.

The Bees pulled a goal back through Ryan De Havilland's impressive free-kick midway though the second half, but Torquay held on for a win that brings them to within a point of safety.
