Two years of getting back from injury Lennon is raring to go.

Not sure he’s the type of player we need right now? We have 3 guys who can be “destructive” ish. Midfielders that are fit and another waiting to get “on the grass”. We probably need more attack minded players or someone that can play the role sawyers has been in add some strength and competition.

Don't forget, whoever it is would have to be a free agent. Can't sign loans or permanent deals with a player that's under contract elsewhere.

Even if a player had their contract terminated by their current club, they wouldn't be able to sign for us until July. That's because the transfer rules stop that from happening.

Arter has been mentioned on this topic but the above reasons rule him out because he's under contract at another club.

Without pre-empting, signing Lennon Peake would be a coup for our club once up to required fitness levels. The irony of that being had we signed him during the transfer window, he woukd have had quite a few U-23:games under his belt now...

He is highly rated and wants to come here over several other interested clubs, including his current club West Ham United and Norwich City

What i stated that in this instance and our current situation I hope it is not Peake I want someone who is ready to play in the first team Peake in the last few years ( mostly injured ) has not shown that he would get into the match day squad never mind the starting 11 I have not seen Peake play and most people would not have seen home play I assume you have seen him
Peake I will welcome as one for the future and that is how I see it
