MY VIEW: BEFORE TONIGHT IT WAS 111 DAYS SINCE CARDIFF WON THEIR LAST HOME GAME
(last 9 home games ), CARDIFF WERE THE BETTER TEAM AND YES CARDIFF GOT THE WIN THEY DESERVED :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

THE CITY FAITHFUL DESERVED THIS WIN :bluebird: :bluebird:

Readings away record one of the worst in the Championship.

GOAL! SAWYERS STUNNER! WON THE GAME :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff had won 2-0 at Birmingham in midweek to get our first win in 15 games, Sabri Lamouchi and the team will be looking to build on that result :bluebird: :ayatollah:

Reading beat Rotherham on Tuesday to get their first win in six games in all competitions. They haven't won in their last six away games.

95th min: Robinson hobbled off injured

Cardiff were the better team and got the 3pts, as they never gave up :bluebird: :bluebird:

TWO WINS IN A ROW :bluebird: :bluebird:

5pts now above the bottom 3 :bluebird: :bluebird:

CARDIFF CITY 1 READING 0 :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:
H-T 0-0
Crowd 18,879
Away Support ( 1,318 )

Cardiff Cit: Allsop; Ng, Kipre, McGuinness; Philogene, Sawyers, Wintle, O’Dowda; Robinson; Kaba, Etete.

Subs: Alnwick, Simpson, Romeo, Rinomhota, Ralls, Ojo, Wickham.

FIRST -HALF: City looked the better team, but once again struggled in front of goal, Kaba had quite a few chances. but not making the most of them.
City more the threatening team, but the usual story.

Bluebirds were the better of the two sides, but with nothing to show for it thus far.

Wintle and O'Dowda had been on good form.

Kaba was playing well but should have scored at least one.

H-T 0-0

SRCOND-HALF:

Nothing really happening,

58th min: Wickham on for Kaba.

65th min: O'Dowda off for Ojo.

70th min: Ralls for Etete.

Very scrappy second-half

But Cardiff hit the bar twice in the last 15mins.

GOAL! Cardiff City 1-0 Reading (Sawyers 90) :bluebird: :bluebird:
GOAL! SAWYERS STUNNER!

Sawyers with a cracker. Volleys home from 25 yards. Drills it low into the bottom corner. What a hit :bluebird:

Robinson hobbled off injured

YESSS.. Get in!

Massive win and well deserved, comfortably the better team.

Brilliant finish by Romaine Sawyers!

Loved the passion when we scored from the team, Lamouchi and Bamba.

Made hard work of it. But absolutely dominated. When we hit post and crossbar in 3 mins thought it really wasn't going to be.

Philogene and Sawyers superb tonight.

Philogene can put in some wicked crosses, agree a little sometimes he confuses the defence so much that even our strikers don’t know when it’s coming in.

Great goal by Sawyers, he seems to go missing though for long periods so guess he owed us that

Great win, now to get 3 on the bounce

33 crosses aswell, only if we hadn’t of dropped those points against Wigan and Blackpool at home

We need Davies as sub, and maybe colwill or Harris- forget sub goalie i want us to push forward as our defence is good enough.

Night and day difference tonight, we never gave Reading a chance (except Alsop lol). Half through second half most the reading team looked to have given up.

I was worried we lose momentum during some stoppages but City kept going and we got the win.

Ince couldn't complain if it was 4-0 at the end, all Reading did was kick it to Carrol all game hoping something happens

Played some really entertaining football in the first half and should have taken at least one of those chances.

Philogene
Robinson
McGuinnes
Kipre
Ng

All outstanding but the pick of the bunch for me was Wintle. Covered every blade of grass and the passion he gave to recover the ball got the fans off their seats.

Buzzing to get what we deserved, as when we hit the bar twice and Robinson got injured you just thought it wasn't going to be our day.

Only when you look at the table after two wins do you realise how much in the shit we were and still are. It’s better, but in reality we needed two wins and we got them. Breathing space for a few weeks.
