Perry Ng believes Sabri Lamouchi:

Ng: Sabri Lamouchi inspires us:

Perry Ng believes Sabri Lamouchi "inspires" Cardiff's players every day on the training pitch with his positive coaching methods.

It's not been the easiest of starts for the Bluebirds under the Frenchman, but they earned their first victory with Lamouchi in the dugout away to Birmingham City on Tuesday.

And when asked how the manager has been behind the scenes, Ng waxed lyrical about his coaching style.

"He's a very positive guy," Ng told WalesOnline. "Every day he gets us pumped up and he inspires us. He is very energetic, which is good.

"On the training pitch, he's very tactical. We've cut playing short and we play in the opposition's half a lot more and put teams under pressure. I think it's working. We just need to build on it now and go into Friday positively.

"We have found the transition OK. At Luton we performed well, we were unlucky, Hull the same. Middlesbrough, they showed their quality.

"We are getting used to it now and we are putting teams under pressure."

I was thrilled with his appointment. But he is definitely growing on me. Tans done well again here I think got the right man in. And if the players are buying into him even better.

I’m a fan. I like how he isn’t over stating anything. Just quietly going abouy his business and clearly understands his tactics and is doing well with the players at his disposal. Just hope it continues all season and we stay up!!

I'm trying not to get to carried away. But there's been an improvement game on game, more heart and desire from the players than I've seen all season and we are not a million points off 6th
So happy we've got a proper manager, thought his tactics Vs Brum were spot on.

Seems like Ng saying they weren't impressed with Hudsons coaching there.

My main gripe with the club and some of our fans is the give them a go attitude, because we know them

The championship is the 8th richest league in the world, higher in value than the Dutch and Russian highest division, its a big deal !

So if we say there are 20 clubs per league we are 140th~160th most important football club in the world, then we give the most important job to a total rookie or the next best thing.

Imagine a golfer or tennis player lining up to play in a competition and the main sponsor decides the club pro is getting an invite because they play a bit and are "in the building", it would be carnage as was our summer recruitment and his replacement.

Sabri has done his time in management, he knows what worked for him and what hasn't, and his experience is huge.

Morison and Hudson wanted to play the right way (because they were instructed to) and against the likes of you and I would be like Barca or Citeh, but against Championship teams they were gash at it and his knows this because he has no skin in that game.

This is going to take pragmatism and experience and we needed a total outsider to do it.

I am more than hopeful

Cracking post mate, spot on

I've always said, all an owner needs to do, is appoint the best manager he possibly can pay whatever it takes, he will pay for himself in no time.

Things have improved game by game and I expect further improvement tonight.

The early signs are good with Lamouchi and hopefully that will continue.

I also like that he's honest in his interviews, like when he said we were in a "shit position".

Early days but things look a bit more promising than they did last month.

And to think some fans were saying he wasn't good enough after losing his first three games, two against two of the top four
