I know that I will get stick from some on here BUT HOW ON EARTH can you bring on 4 substitutes and still leave Callum Robinson on the pitch?
He did very well in his assist for the goal, but other than that he was hapless. Hardly in the game. On the one or two occasions he put a cross in or had a “shot” they were poor.
I remember when we got him the WBA forum their fans were pretty happy to see him go.Its funny cos he is popular on here, yet Harris gets a lot of flack. What does Robinson do particulary well??
He looks quite busy, but he was not good at pressing when not in possession. His starting position is to stand nowhere near the opposition player when they are playing out. He then runs towards the player but too late to put him under real pressure.
Lamouchi took him off against Luton and for the last 1/2 hour we played a lot better.i thought he would givw the finishing players a start yesterday. Towards the end CR gave away possession very cheaply and it led directly to the third goal, which killed the game. Time for CR to be on the bench.
Imho,Lamouchi needs to start with Rinomhota (Ojo and Philogene together in the team are too similar skilfull but lightweight). Also he needs to give a better opportuniy to Davies. I would much rather see an attack, (at home), with Kaba Etete and pace from Davies and O Dowda. …,,Very disappointed with the outcome yesterday Boro could have been out of sight by half time.

Robinson dropped to the bench tonight and Rinomohta starting. A better attack with Kaba and Etete BUT My concern is a major lack of pace … O Dowda in defence and no sign if Davies.
