"Really pleased, we knew it would be a hard game and we expected it, but we were ready for it.

"It was a game of two halves in terms of our style. In the first half we played some of the best stuff since I came here.

"In the second half we had to dig in, but the boys who came off the bench made a really big difference for us.

"I was proud of the efforts the boys put in and they got their reward. The way we responded to giving the goal away was pleasing - in the end I am really happy."

Had a chat with a few Boro in the Cornwall, they were quite surprised the mess we are in considering we beat them up there, they also said if Carrick had not come in they would have struggled but he has changed the whole mentality around the club to a much more professional set up, no snoods, gloves or any of that in training and expects complete and utter commitment.

They also cant believe that there has not been more of an opposition to the owners and board, they were a bit worried that the could lose as well....
