TAN THE CLUB KILLER

Sat Feb 11, 2023 10:56 pm

Let's get one thing straight.
Vincent Tan has no affinity to our club whatsoever !!

He only invested in the club as a toy. He tried rebranding our club how HE wanted it with no regard for our fans or the club history. It was simply a plaything and an investment for him.

Now this is failing big time and he has become bored but has put himself in a situation where he is forced to invest just enough to try and keep his investment at some value.

He knows league one will be disastrous for his investment hence the multiple sackings.

He is not bankrolling us because he loves the club or the fans but because he has to !!

When was the last time he was in cardiff and how many times since we were relegated?

Sam hammam was not everyone's cup of tea but at least he had the club and fans at heart.

Tan is slowly destroying this club and too many people believe because he has put so much money into the club that he cares. He dosent. He wants out as it hasn't worked.

Get out of our club tan before its too late.

Lol. No why would I be extremely drunk?

It's what most fans are thinking but I guess you are happy with the situation?

The bit where you said Sam had the fans and club at heart. Just thought that could only be drunk talk.

I know it is hard to hear but it is Tan's club, not ours!

Fans, communities and FA's have sat back for decades while a sport, once embedded within local working class societies, was taken away and turned into to big business enterprises for the rich.

Local authorities ignored it as it brought in much needed local spending, the FA'S encouraged it as their product started to bring in hundreds of millions through TV revenue and fans were blinkered by the hope of success for their clubs.

In a way we are to blame wanting the rich owners and instant success.

We are now just customers whose only power is to take away our patronage. Something we will not do because we still think it is OUR club and the owners know this.

If you were served shit food in a restaurant you wouldn't go back. Perhaps one day a better owner or chef may take over and then you MAY go back.

That is all we have left to hold on to and hope there is someone who WANTS to take over.

I don't think many, other than a few ne'er-do-wells with a vested interest in seeing the club slide, like Ninian27 and (not from) barnet blue, are 'happy' with the situation but I am curious as to why you seem to think Tan has (quote) 'killed' the club...? :?

I look forward to your reply... :ayatollah:

Yes Tan owns the club but it's nothing without the fans, we'll be here long after Tan. if we boycotted for a few months he'd be knackered. I'm not suggesting we do boycott btw

It's the same thing and my question is still valid...

Look at your thread title; it 100% doesn't say 'Tan is killing the club', does it...? ;)

Sven
No. But it does not say killed either does it like you quoted.

Like I said if you read the article properly you would see I mentioned "tan is destroying our club" which is akin to "killing".

Problem is sven you like to try and be clever on here behind your keyboard constantly patronising and nit picking people's posts. It dosent wash with me.

Wink wink

You take it any way you want, fella, but I'm not the 'problem' and deflecting rather than answering is the domain of those who cannot answer a simple question... ;) ;)

Tan isn't (quote) 'killing' the club but he certainly isn't making it a 'happy' place right now...

Back over to you... ;) ;)

Correct; and that's never a 'problem' with me. I'm just a straightforward guy, who sees the good, bad and indifferent, according to its merit... :ayatollah:
