He has league one experience with Luton and getting promotion to the championship so he could well end up managing us next season.

I wouldn't want Jones as our manager. The bloke is a clown.

Last week he was going on about himself being statistically one of the best managers in Europe, the other day he went full David Brent and today he says it benefited Wolves going down to ten men.

Our manager has been left a mess and been in charge for three games. In those three games we've played two of the current top four. Far too early to say he's not the answer.

I'd love Nathan....

He’d command a decent wage and investment in the squad, neither of which he’ll get here.

He didn’t have a decent wage and little investment with little Luton but got them promotion and made them a good Championship team! He is also a Cardiff supporter an ex player so understands our club and our potential!

We already have a manager and he's unlikely to be replaced this season. As I said, he's only been in charge for three games, two of them against teams in the top four.

By the way, Jones has only been promoted once as Luton manager. That was when they finished 2nd in League Two.

The year they got promoted to the Championship, he left halfway through that season to take the Stoke job. Look how that worked out for him.

Then this year he left them again to take the Southampton job. Look how that's working out for him.. sensing a pattern here.

Money wise if he got sacked - He would be paid his contract up by Southampton ( so the wage here not a problem )
Investment in the squad - I Agree ... There is the problem for him or others .

Sacked, I don't get the desire from some for him to come to our club. He wasn't good enough as a player here and his stock is questionable. Great job at Luton twice, but abysmal at Stoke and Saints.

think he just suits Luton… not great expectations.. in his comfort zone.. failed at Stoke and now Southampton, both bigger clubs and bigger fan expectations.

Is Nathan Jones really a City fan? I've heard mixed opinions

He must have an affinity with us even if he's not a City fan. I'd put him on stand by for the Summer
