For me the next week is incredible important:
If we can’t get 6pts from 9pts in our next 3 games, I honestly see us sad going down.
Sat Feb 11 – Middlesbrough (H)
Tue Feb 14 – Birmingham City (A)
Sky Friday Feb 17 - 8pm Cardiff City v Reading (H
Plus tomorrow Blackpool v Rotherham and Wigan v Huddersfield

I think we'll get 7 points from these next 3 games.
Boro - 1
Brum - 3
Reading - 3
We'll pull away from the relegation places and finish the season about 12th

I've looked at the survival stats for the last few seasons and around 50 pts will see us safe. So we need 21 pts from the 16 remaining games (48pts available), which is some permutation like 7 wins or 5 wins & 6 draws. By no means impossible but we're up against it for sure with two team below us with games in hand.

It can also depend on which games we actually win. Wins against teams below us and around us will influence how many points will need as those are real 6 pointers !

Agree, I've only approximated from the stats for a few seasons so there's going to be variance, I was just curious as to see roughly what we needed. I don't think it's far off as SL said he thinks we need a out 6 wins, or 18pts.
Sky now have is as 5th favourite for the drop, so odds have improved slightly in our favour, not that it matters really but we're not getting written off. If there is a positive, it's that we're not getting thumped and the table is still relatively tight in terms of survival, for now at least.

Middlesbrough are good and Birmingham are hit and miss, away will be difficult tho. Reading is a team we can beat. But anything can happen in this division. We don't get battered by teams just can't score goals. That's the frustrating thing we are 3 or 4 good championship quality players, attacking/creative, away from being decent.

We beat them up there and were three up, I know they've improved.
Are they better than Leeds, we drew with them at home.
Lets not write us off, come on Bluebirds, win lose or draw I'll be there!!!!
