IS LAMOUCHI - WARNOCK or McCARTHY ?:
By the time we play Brum or Reading next week , we will be able to tell whether Lamouchi’s plan is to go the Warnock/McCarthy way :
(1) Allsop is now kicking the ball upfield …far more than under Morison and Hudson.
(2) The defense is compact and we are defending in numbers as soon as we lose the ball . (3) We try to get the ball upfield very quickly once in possession .
(4) We want the ball crossed into the box asap .
(5) We now have two giant “storks” in Etete and Kaba …..and if that is not enough he wants to add another stork in Wickham.
(6)He thinks our lads are “nice” ….no more of this …..”get stuck in”.
(7) No more patty patty pass pass pass football.
We’ve only had two games under Lamouchi …but by maximum Reading we will know .
Remember Bamba is there ….and Bamba’s idol is Warnock and that is all he knows .
