Goals have been the problem - confident you have the players?
SABRI LAMOUCHI:
"Of course we have the players and the squad for scoring goals. We have quality. We have to do more. Each player has to do more to try to change that."
We are close, but at the same time we are not so close. We must be more determined in the right areas.
We are doing better and better, session after session, game after game. Against a different team this weekend, maybe the best one, I love the way they play. The manager, Michael, is doing a great job there.
Akpom is having the best time of his career.
But we play at home, an important game. This is the first of 16 finals. We must be ready. We start the week with a good session to try to show them what was good and not good in the last two games and step by step, we will see.

Lamouchi has just followed in line with Neil Harris, Steve Morison, Mark Hudson etc etc
Saying we have the players & squad and are capable of scoring goals.
Well the facts don’t say that or the previous managers all failed??
Well it’s your 3rd game in charge and hope this Saturday and beyond Saturday, we will see this and the wins.

Every new manager looks at this team and immediately talks about the potential in the squad, however not one of them has had a consistent starting eleven and some bizarre substitutions which seem to be of desperation rather than tactical.
I honestly can't pick a starting eleven that I think have the quality to win games at this level and as we need to win probably 7 football matches how is that going to happen.

As you can see though the pattern continues, saying what Dalman wants them to say.
The league table does not lie or the results.

In fairness to him he can't really come out and say "the players are shit and we're going down"
He has to try to persuade the players that they are good enough to avoid the drop and perhaps this is his way of trying to motivate them to show what they are capable of.
When he's alone in his office or at home perhaps he's thinking "What the f..k have I let myself in for here?"

Time will tell.
If he is right he will be here next season. If we go down he will be gone.

Surely a decent manager can get goals out of Kaba, Robinson, Davies, Etete and Colwill ?
Just a matter of working out the best combination to me. Are those forward options really that much worse than the options we had last season in terms of goals.

I am Sorry but what do you expect him to say - "We have a crap bunch of players and they cannot hit a barn door with a bag of peas" now that is going to motivate the squad NOT

Either be honest or just say the lads have been a great bunch to work with, not asking him to down them but we keep hearing how we have all the quality we need etc has become absolute bullshit and fans everyone knows it.
It’s like each manager has been told what to say.
If there is that much quality etc then why are we staring at relegation?
At best this lot could just about keep us up with a good manager.

Sadly he's inherited Morrisons collection of players ( wouldn't say they are team ).they look like league 2 players trying to stay up in the championship

Spot on, exactly what I was thinking!

In fairness to him, in an article on Wales online he says they have U21 's training with the first team squad but that's it, they' re not ready to play. So he is being honest. Bit of a difference to what Tan and Dalman are saying.

Let's hope he is right ....
