I remember when Sam was doing that initiative where anyone bringing a Man U, Liverpool etc top in could get a discounted City shirt.
I went in with an old Man U and Ajax shirt with the hope of swapping and the guy behind the counter said that the Ajax shirt didn't qualify. I argued a bit and suddenly Sam came into the shop and asked what the problem was. I explained and Sam asked my son (5 at the time) to do the Ayatollah which he did. Sam turned to the guy and said 'He qualifies, give him a shirt' :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Brill that, I must admit I loved Sam's enthusiasm for CCFC.

Away at chesterfield, Sam jogging around the ground - Brings a tear to the eye compared to what we got now :bluescarf:

The club shop today at cardiff city stadium should be selling old kits like the yellow away kit, the black away kit and even more. The club would be making loads by just selling retro kits in the store. No idea why they dont.
