WHAT PUNISHMENT WOULD FIT THE CRIME FOR MAN CITY? (IF GUILTY

Man City are in hot water with 115 rule breaking allegations against the premier league champions in over 10 years.

But IF they are guilty then could they face relegation from the premier league? or points deduction?
So what do you think?

I think if found guilty then they will need to drop into the lower leagues potentially down to league 2. But of course it will have a knock on effect throughout the club. Pep will leave, the owners might be forced to leave and majority of the top players could be forced to leave as well. Man City will be forced to become a team before rich owners came in.

Relegated to where though? Just the championship or lower like national league or somewhere in between ?

I would say relegate them to the 2nd division but as I've said elsewhere they will get fined a small amount (to them) and then carry on as normal.

Relegation with a lottery involving Championship teams with 'City' in their name and who play in blue to replace them...

The premier league can expel them, but the EFL don't have to accept them.

Minimum they should get is a points deduction but whether that's likely is another matter.

I get the feeling if this was a bottom half team then the punishment they'd get would be much than Man City will get.

Reports today that Man City have brought in a lawyer who charges £10k an hour for his services. So they're obviously worried.

What should happen is FFP is scrapped. All the teams at the top take the piss and the only ones who get hurt by it are teams in our division, their equivalent or below.

We're not going to stop billionaire owners buying clubs as play things. And the same people who fiddle taxes and rules within their business lives will do the same in football.

Let them spend what they can or can't afford. The money is all getting pumped in to the football pyramid.

They'll probably get their pocket money stopped for a month. Reduced to 2 weeks on appeal.
