Remember Derby Fans nearly 30,000 fans for their home games and thousands away for their away games and had virtually NO chance of staying up & had points deduction / Transfer Embargo / hated their owner etc


SO CARDIFF FANS CAN WE ALL GET BEHIND OUR TEAM & STARTING WITH THIS SATURDAY AT LEAST GET 25,000 HOME CROWDS & SELL OUT AWAY CROWDS


Over 3 years ago we were playing in the Premier with home crowds of 30,000 plus, were these fans there to watch Cardiff City or the opposition?

YOUR LOCAL CLUB NEEDS YOU NOW / NOT WHEN WE ARE GOING UP ETC

NO EXCUSES / GREAT VALUE & SOME VERY BIG HOME GAMES

Wait for the excuses / There we’re NO excuses when we were going up & when we were in the Premises / Derby fans turned up.

But as for numbers turning up
Not a chance if I'm honest to many keyboard warriors in Cardiff.
They like to moan online but very little turn up and support our club

I'll be there.
We must get behind the manager and the team.

I honestly expect over 20,000 if our fan base really cares

I will be happily surprised if we manage to hit over 20k mate. I agree our fans should show the manager and players what it means to us, turn up, make loads of noise and support the boys.

Unfortunately we're not playing a prem team and not on a good run. We have too many fair weather fans (if that's what they actually are) so I can see it being the usual apparent 18k but more like 13-14

I agree 110 percent mate, we need every fan that can make it to be there. I just can't see it happening.
We've got a group of hardcore who will be there no matter what, who bleed blue because it's in their veins, who know Cardiff has been the biggest constant in their lives and will always be there (as I tell my wife lol), who would never give up on their club because it's not a choice, no matter what division, colour or who owns us.

Then some with genuine reasons for not going, health etc.

I agree. If you’re any sort of real fan you put any concerns about anything other than football to the side and get there for these games.

Too many fans have selective memories about the past. It will take a long time for us to get back into the Championship if we go down. We’ll have lost any of the half decent players we’ve got and believe me there is a big drop off in standard between Championship and Div 1.

I will stick by my belief that this squad is good enough for top half of the Championship so with a bit of luck maybe the new manager is what we needed and we can grind out enough points to keep us up.

The away following has been pretty good this season, let’s see if the home fans can prove us wrong and turn up in numbers and really get behind the team.

Flying back tomorrow for the Boro, Birmingham and Reading games.

I agree fans should get behind the lads, and il be there tomorrow to cheers the team on, however the derby county comparison is not a 'direct comparison'.

They had a good squad with some game changers in the team, reletively good manager in wayne rooney, and were down the bottom as a result of the points deduction.

I think if we weren't so bad, actually scored goals etc then more of our fans would have hope and desire.

Sadly I just think a lot of our fans have lost that required desire due to the many factors discussed recently in other threads
