Middlesbrough are a really solid team all over the pitch. In Michael Carrick , I believe they have a manager with a bright future.


They are very competent going forward and can score a lot of goals. They have the league’s top scorer Akpom who is good with the ball and excellent positional play.

They also have others who can score Forss , McGree ….playing wide … with Archer leading the line.



Their midfield is solid and comfortable on the ball , with their captain Howson as the key playmaker. Their defense was suspect and their weakness , but under Cartick they improved a lot recently.



This is not an easy game and of course we have be organized in defense as we have been in the last two games ….. but under Lamouchi he clearly want us to get the ball very quickly upfield when we gain possession . I believe we should go for it from the word go and not be scared .


I hope we go “shit or bust “ - it is our best bet ….and what do wr have to lose ? We can’t be defending and defending till they score and then start playing catch-up.


Lamouchi said we should score first ….. well bloody well go for it !

The Bluebirds manager did not mince his words after defeat to Hull

Sabri Lamouchi says Cardiff City now 'have to panic' if they are to get out of their 's**t position' at the heart of the Championship relegation battle.

The Bluebirds' relegation worries were deepened by a 1-0 defeat to Hull City on Saturday, their third straight league defeat


It's also the first time in 15 years Cardiff have gone 13 games without a win in all competitions, and the mood round the capital is looking increasingly gloomy.

The Bluebirds are now just two points ahead of the relegation zone, with teams below them having the luxury of a game in hand, and Lamouchi pulled no punches in his post-match assessment.

"It's very simple," he said. "Frustration, disappointment. Second game, second loss, one down. So we are close. But at the end we lost three points. We didn't deserve it I think. If you open the scoring first it's a different game, but we said that the last game.

"It's not enough. We must be more aggressive in the two boxes. The goal is because we lost the duel. We created the chance, but not enough to come back."

Asked if there was any panic in the camp, he admitted: "We have to panic. We have to panic. Sometimes if you care about something you can play without any thinking in your mind.

"So just run, fight and do what you have to do. We have to panic because the situation is not comfortable. I know they are all aware of the situation, so this is very important. We have 16 games [left]. I don't want to start late. I talk to the players and they know the situation. So we must find a solution.

"We played much better than the last time. It's just one goal. One more. But one more loss. We need to be more aggressive in the two boxes and we need to change our mentality to approach the game and need to be more of a killer.

"So don't give anything to anyone because nobody is going to give us a gift, or a point, or a goal. So we need to work all together and the message for the fans is that we know where we are.

I'd love us to go at them from the first whistle, and if we manage to score not sit back and think we can defend the lead.
Would be so refreshing and make my day.
I can take losing if we give it a real go, still don't like to though lol

I agree, we need to start picking up points and that means winning at home.
Managers rarely if ever go shit or bust though.

I just hope we, as fans, give Lamouchi time. He has limited resources to work with but we need to be patient as there is plenty of time left this season.
