I see what you mean. Tbf Etete did good work collecting the ball wide.
One thing is for certain, to play the tactics we played Saturday we have to play at least one big guy up top.

I did notice against both Luton and Hull there was no attempt to play the ball out from the back at goal kicks.

Everyone heads straight up to the halfway line for Allsop to kick long.

We need to start winning the 2nd ball though if this is the plan and then build from there.

If that's what it takes to keep us up then so be it. If that is what happens then fair play to our new manager who is clearly seeing the issues and working to get the best out of the players at his disposal

When you’re in a relegation scrap you have to play % football. Get the ball out of your own danger area and then battle for the ball in the opposition half.

You have to have real confidence to play from the back and this team’s confidence is shot.

I think Etete and the new guy could work because Etete is pretty quick and works hard. We’ve tried everything else so why not ?

It seemed to work with Kieffer Moore. Hold the ball until you have support or get fouled. Not classy but works if you have the right player for that job.
