A terrible run 15 years in the making for Cardiff City:

By Tom Coleman

Yesterday's result condemned Cardiff to a 13th game without a win, equalling a record set by Dave Jones' side 15 years ago.

Cardiff eventually finished 13th that season. If you offered that to any Bluebird now they'd deliriously snap your arm off with glee.

There's a noticeable, and thoroughly understandable, lack of confidence coursing through the club at the moment. Fans turn up not really expecting anything other than disappointment and, barring a few exceptions, the players are also showing a bit of reluctance to express themselves.

City have now scored only one league in their last seven league games.

It’s only just over a season ago under Neil Harris, Cardiff went on another terrible run, which ended up being their worst in 120 years.

Cardiff need that goal and a win to bring confidence back in to the team and they need at this Saturday at home to Middlesbrough.

This has been in the making for a few seasons now. Only one man to blame and that is Vincent Tan who should sell up to someone who will invest.

I cannot see us stopping the rot next Saturday. I really can see a hammering in the offer here.

Exactly Ian,

Have you noticed his followers have all gone quite, for me it would be more respectful and honest to admit Vincent Tan & his Regime need to ALL go and are NO good for Our Club.

But instead if we finally win a game they will reappear and make out how he was right all along

Yeah I have notice. At least they are still supporting the club unlike their leader.

That is true , they are real City fans unlike the Regime who could not care what happens to our Regime.

Just a thought.....

Why don't people concentrate on getting everyone back together instead of this constant divisive name calling.

Well said jules.
Whatever our thoughts are on tan and annis knows where I'm at. Really can't be bothered going into it again lol.
We all need to stand together, support the team and try get out of the shit. We've got what we've got and a divided fan base isn't much help.

An excellent point.

Some people seem to want to play their game of dividing the fans into ‘Tan haters’ & ‘Tan lovers’ but all I see on here are posters who support their team - except for a few loons of course!

For me I’d be more than happy with a takeover with new investment with the right people coming in.
Who wouldn’t?

Once again Jules, back to his old self, why not unite and drive Tan out?

It’s posters like you dividing us sticking up for Tan.

We took stick when we stayed Blue and true to our club.
Told to move on, get over it, f**k you
We took stick because we said how badly our club was being run.
I don’t see posters like you sticking up for us when we stood by our morais, make me sick some of you.

How does this not mean we don’t support our team tell me?
Not liking the Regime does not mean we don’t support our team or club, you make me sick with all your shit.

Where have I said that you don’t support OUR team?
Whatever happens on this forum your support of the team is proven.

Posters like me?
I usually only ever chat on football and games on here, rarely about the politics, but my point is virtually everyone on this forum would be happy to see Tan gone with the correct people coming in.
I’ve seen nobody stick up for him and say he should stay.

Even Wez (who I admire his loyalty) is of the same opinion as me with respect that Tans time is overdue and it’s time for him to go.

With regards to staying Blue and sticking up for our morals, there were few who stuck up for this more than me!
I was there on all the walks, ‘stood up, sat down’ with you outside the entrance to the stadium so please don’t put me in the bracket of those people your talking about.

So how can you have ago at us for being against Tan??

So it’s simple we either unite for or against Tan, very simple.

That’s nothing to do with not supporting our team is it?

I took stick beyond for fighting for our identity back and still posters like you continue to have ago at me for being against Tan, yes it hurts and I have finally had enough of many of our so called fan base.

This hurting beyond swing our club run by people who really don’t care for us, yet you say unite?

Re: A terrible run 15 years in the making for Cardiff City:

For me we should be behind our team but uniting against the Regime

So what are other fans suggestions??

Please someone explain this Unite?

We are all behind our team.

So why not unite against Tan????

iI don t post a lot on here , i prefer to read and listen to what others have to say, but for me Tan is like a few AsIan businessmen i know
He likes total control, believes he know s best and whoa betide anyone who opposes his ideas.
I am 110% behind Annis..i support the team but want TAN out of our club...The two puppets in charge have no more knowledge of football than Tan has.
And as long as those three are at our club , we are heading only one way
For gods sake give Laouchi a hand and let him get some free agents in to bolster midfield and attack and inject the confidence into this team.
I support the team butdefinitely not the Regime

Absolutely Spot on.

That to me is uniting behind our team and manger and standing together against the Regime who do not care but are slowly killing our beloved club.

Not saying we are not all behind our team on match day. And have no answer as to what will stop the divide. Most probably only thing that will is when tan leaves.
The thing I don't think helps the players on the pitch is the booing, and tan out chants during the game.
They need all the support we can give them.
We are all entitled to our opinions and free to voice them but for 90 odd minutes I'd like us all to give 110 percent backing to those on the pitch, can stay behind or voice before like the last home game.
That's how I feel aaanyway

When I fly back which is for two more games very soon, i cheer the team for 90mins plus.

As to Tan, I don’t see the posters who backed him 24/7 and stalked us at least coming out and finally saying we want all the Regime out.

Unite for the manager and team and unite against the Regime..

I'm not saying you don't, and don't doubt you at all pal.
However there is a certain element to our supporters who are quick to boo our players and it really bugs me.

I am 100% against booing our own players, that does not help our team at all.

I am against Tan, his regime, how he treats the club and its supporters. I'm against Berjaya and how the.club is simply a susidiary of such a huge conglomerate.

Our identity? Gone, the idea that we build as a team or business or entity.. gone.

What it doesnt mean is that I'm not a fan. Ive watched and followed games, but Im not giving Tan money that he will not invest in the team.

Uniting against Tan IS safeguarding our clubs future....

I honestly wouldn't say anyone is less of a fan for taking whatever action or having whatever opinion they do.
All entitled to think and do as we please, doesn't mean we love our club any less.

And I think that's what everyone needs to remember. It's why we are all on here and what we all share in common. We all want what's best for our club at the end of the day.
