These are not even tough times, try 9 years in the old 4th Division, with sometimes just 11-50 fans going away & home crowds of 1,400, these are Glory times compared to them :bluebird: Bluebirds :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I remember them days, had more fun throwing a policeman's hat around the bob bank than watching the football...
I was only young though

Your right by the standards of Cardiff city football club these are glory days because our expectations and achievements are traditionally low.contrast that to a club like Everton crying and protesting because they might lose top flight status for the first time since 1954 ironically our last decent finish in division 1 (tenth)

To a certain extent i agree, but in those days there was always hope that given a modicum of investment we could turn it around and climb the leagues. The trouble now is we have built up so much debt under Tan that it would take a huge amount to turn things around and there is no one out there willing to put in that sort of money.

Football may have been rubbish but we it was a better day out. Cup of tea and a pastie for a quid :old: , stand where you wanted :old: - even on the rare occasion when it was a big crowd -and not treated as a potential terrorist when entering the ground. :old:
