Kaba Debut

Its difficult to judge on just 30 minutes but I thought Kaba had a decent debut. He looks direct, wins his headers and was unlucky at the end with a point blank range save. A small positive crumb on another grim day.

I thought he was ok too, as was Etete. Need to put ball in net though.

I would play Kaba and Etete with Robinson just behind for next week’s game.

Plus Rinomhota in midfield as I just can’t believe he’s not getting into this team. He’s the only CM with any legs.

Promising signs from him for me too. Especially liked the way he was applauding his team mates and constantly talking to them.
Unusual for a striker but could be the leader we are lacking.

Agreed about Kaba, he looks useful and would work well with Etete, I would push O'Dowda back to full back and play Robinson out wide in his place where he could cut in and join the attack!

Yes he looks like a bit of a character. Also trying to gee up the City fans a bit as well.

Looked a bit of a handful when he came on and although he was denied from point blank range by the keeper I was encouraged to see that he was actually in the right position to try to profit from the defensive mistake that led to the chance.

Credit to the manager too for getting him on early in the second half and recognizing that it wasn't happening for Robinson
