MY VIEW: CITY TODAY TOOK ON FELLOW STRUGGLERS HULL CIT & YOU GUESSED IT YET AGAIN CARDIFF LOST AGAIN

Cardiff were without a win in 12 games and are the lowest scorers in the Championship.

Where are all our so called great Academy players? not one started today.

Cardiff to me lost fair and square despite only losing 1nil, but guess what Cardiff could not score.

2nd defeat in a row now for for Cardiff's new manger and the league 1 is looking closer

For me so far NO difference in how we look

FIRST-HALF: In the first 20mins: It was all Hull, Cardiff could of been 2nil down.
27th min, Cardiff get a penalty :bluebird: Penalty saved!.

There was no confidence from Robinson when taking he pen.
Robinson goes low to the Ingram's right and the keeper gets a palm on it to turn it round the post.

Cardiff were under pressure for long periods and were probably happy to go in at 0-0.

SECOND-HALF: Hull City dominated and so WOW: 55th min Change for Cardiff.

New signing Sory Kaba replaces Robinson.

61st min: GOAL! Hull City 1-0 Cardiff (Christie)
Christie curls home to give the hosts the lead.

Cardiff can't complain, really. They've been second best for much of this contest.

City cant complain they lost this game.

1 goal in the last 7 league games. No more needs to be said.

Far better than Tuesday. Not so good opposition but today we were unlucky.

If we stay up it will be because of some miracle, I can’t believe how many games we have lost and not scored, seriously what is going on, 20 years since division 2 (league 1) but that is where we are going back to, and that will be dreadful for this club

We are in deep deep shite .
The window was a shocker.
No new manager bounce .
Cant see where a win is coming from

Sat Feb 04, 2023 5:08 pm

We are completely finished. Genuinely no hope. No goals, No manager bounce. Nothing. Certainly one of the lowest points in our history. Frankly anyone turning up next week thinking we will beat Middlesbrough must be mad. Put your mortgage on defeat! What concerns me is that we will struggle in Division One next season. I don't think this team would get in the play offs.

An improvement today.

But the players have had no confidence for months so as soon as we go 1-0 down we all know what's going to happen.

Hopefully the coaches and the team can keep us despite the boards obvious, repeated, failures. Get them out.

A win is coming next home game , looked more energy later in 2nd half , I rekon things will get better game by game

Thought we deserved a point today. Missed pen a key moment. Philogene and ojo looked good and we need to start more attacking. When 2 strikers were on we looked better.

New manager again not using all subs or in timely manner. He has set us up defensively sound but not attacking enough in style albeit not his squad and only 2 games.

League 1 here we come. Looking forward to some great away trips mind

That's because the clowns brought the new manager in after we had a great run of home games on paper :?

Tough fixture list for him to start on. :banghead:

some of the posts on here

Yes its shit at the moment but this is not rock bottom, we have been far worse.

Tan gas royally fcuked up, but there is nothing we can do except support the team. If we are relegated it will be on him, a total loss of face and money. But we are not even in the relegation zone and we have posters acting as if we are cut adrift.

Etete looked better with the new lad.....I am not pessimistic

Fair enough but those lower league days were long ago and I think its understandable that many fans, especially younger ones , are totally fed up with what they are seeing
Its hard to be positive or optimistic when the same thing is happening week in, week out

Fair play to you I wish I had your optimism.the clubs below us have games in hand we find it impossible to score and once the opposition score we evaporate.tough fixtures coming up I honestly believe our current squad would struggle in league 1

As I said in my post it’s been 20 years since league one, I’m 34 years old and started following city when we were in division 3, and I agree we were worse back then, but for over half my life this is one of the worst times I’ve ever witnessed, I’m probably not as hopeful as you, but I cannot see any room for positivity at the moment

Chris
1- If the league finished today we wouldn't be relegated
2- For the first time in 18 months we have a real manager who has done things as a manager (and player)
3- For the first time in 12 months we actually have a center-forward

I think we'll just about escape relegation, this bloke will get a run together, he is a streaky manager; then the Tan battle needs to start as this is negligance from him.

Keep the faith :old: (55 years old)

Ian,

You have to laugh, if the league finished today??? they have games in hand on us and we are not scoring and losing week in week out, but still excuses are being made.
We are in serious trouble, even the new manager admits it.

I'm prepared for the drop but if by a miracle we do avoid it then what are the club going to do about it all after?

All I know is Tan is not prepared to invest properly in the team, so the best for us is for him and all puppets to leave and accept one of the offers he has received.

2weeks ago they were just above us.

Perhaps if we could finally get a couple of wins together we would now be where they are.
Oops sorry get one win, oops sorry if we could score a goal.

So there’s plenty of time between now and the end of the season. Our managers only had 2 games with us, one of which was more or less as he was walking through the door for the first time. Football is a funny old game

I have said I am totally behind our new manager.
