Ours are loaned out to teams about 20 divisions below us in the League pyramid
If your not in the first team at the age of 20 you never will be!!

City still have 17 Under 21 games still to be played, surely better quality, plus why not to a League 1 or 2 club.
In the last 13 years i have yet to see a City player make the grade for us after going out to clubs as low as these.

Because that's his level clearly. Sat on the bench for York says it all tbh a team I watched for a good few years as a kid while living up that way when they was in the leagues

Men from the League of Wales?
Its as easy to let them go on loan to league 1 & 2 clubs.
For me the League of Wales or Non League are beyond low standard for a Championship player to go out to.
Please could you name any player who has come back from these type of clubs and become a Successful Championship player?

still, it could toughen him up, like i said i don't know if he's good enough to make it or not.
i don't know how international loans work, there might be some other requirements for these so not sure if that was an issue regarding a lack of lower league clubs.
but if you are asking regarding players who have played in the league of wales who then went on do better things there are a few, Akinfenwa, was at Barry town i believe, ended up playing in the championship, Lee Trundle, Rhys Healy, Owain Tudor Jones, Christian Doidge, we had Mark Delaney ,Andy Cooke (just looked him up now, played with Burnley and Stoke
like i said annis, i'm not saying he's going to make it or not, but surely at that age for me, he should have made it now, so letting them go is good for us, as it means we now have a spot in the U23s that maybe a 16, 17 or even 18 year old might be able to make the jump up and impress.
