' One of City's coaching staff left yesterday '

Wed Feb 01, 2023 9:33 am

Graham Stack Cardiff City goalkeeping coach who was appointed by Steve Morison after the disrespectful way Andrew Dibble was kicked out of our club has left Cardiff City with immediate effect.

Years of loyalty by Dibs were just thrown away without notice.

I really hope Dibs is brought back, loved by the staff at our club and our fans, we need this :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Goalkeeping coach Graham Stack has left the club with immediate effect:

Sabri Lamouchi was brought in as Bluebirds manager on Friday and has taken the managers job till May, it was thought he would keep the remaining coaching set-up which was in place as it was supposedly highly rated by the CCFC Committee.

However, Lamouchi confirmed after Tuesday night's game with Luton Town that Stack has left the club and the search for his successor is under way.

Sabri run training on Friday. Come Saturday told stack he was training the U23 team and Sunday Stack didn’t turn up so he’s been sacked.

We keep saying we want to unite, keep local talent etc
Cardiff need staff who really care for our club and 100% Andrew Diddle certainly does :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Stack was appointed last summer by Steve Morison, having previously worked with Watford's academy. He lasted just seven months in the job.

He is the third member of the coaching staff to leave this month, with former manager Mark Hudson and ex-head of physical performance Patrick Wilson also having departed the club since the turn of the year.

Sabri has played a blinder here, told Stack to train the under 23's as Sabri has realised he is not good enough for a first team goalkeeper coach, Stack made sabris job easier by being miffed and not turning up for training, well done Sabri, can you see any of our last 3 managers doing that, we need a goalkeeping coach that coaches allsop to come off his line:thumbup:

So Roger was Stack not good enough, because according to Glen Williams aka Dalman he was very highly rated??

Looks like Sabri is taking no prisoners !!

Good for him, we need a strong leader and everyone together. If the story about Stack above is accurate then good for Sabri. Sends out the right message.

It's good to have a manager who knows what he is doing. Delman :laughing5: :laughing5: :laughing5: :laughing5:

Graham Stack has left - can we expect any further shake-ups?

No. For the moment we will stay like this. We changed the manager. The assistant came with me. We need more players than people in the staff. So we need to focus on that.

Not really fair to bring up how Dibble was dismissed as a way to bash Stack.

He was highly rated as a goalkeeping coach at Watford before coming here.

Don’t see why we would bring Dibble back, Smithies and Phillips both got progressively worse during their time here with him coaching.

So has Allsop since Stack was coaching him :banghead:

I don’t think allsop has gotten worse. I think shot stopping wise he’s never been as good as previous keepers we’ve had. Ball at his feet is a manager’s decision and it looks like Hudson and especially now Lamouchi have given him less freedom than Morison did so he looks less impressive
