Morison built this squad. We can argue about investment. But this is his squad. Not hudsons. Not Lamouchi’s. We probably could have got uche who would certainly have added something to this team. There were undoubtedly strikers available and we spent money on Robinson so I’m not convinced no money was there.. Fwiw Robinson is at least 100% and gives his all. But he’s not the last piece of the jigsaw. Etete was brought in as a project as was tanner. But why do we bring projects in when we don’t have the finished article? The writing was on the wall early on because this inability to get the ball In to the box and threaten has been there from day 1 of tbe season. We have had 2 transfer windows to get it right. Let’s hope sory kicks on and gets us those goals.
