Would you take Kieffer Moore back on loan till the end of the season?
Even those who slated him???
Bournemouth ready to loan him out but want most of his wages paying ?
Keifer Moore on £15,000 per week at Bournemouth - within our current salary range, albeit top level.
Plus high bonuses.
If player out of favor, definitely a target for a loan - particularly because the Cherries are paying the £5m to us over three years, length of Moore's contract at the Vitality Stadium.

I heard we enquired on Friday, but nothing more.

Absolutely….was brilliant for us and didn’t blame him for leaving …would be great with CR
Sat Jan 28, 2023 9:10 pm
If he keeps us up all would be forgiven I'm sure

Apparently our new manager plays counter attacking football, unfortunately keifer doesn't fit that style.
Also do I think he will be loaned out, no chance.

Can't see us paying his wages tbh he must be on at least 40k a week

Be worth it for 13 weeks paying saying 70% he would guarantee our Championship survival, worth £30mill survival.
I know we made a telephone call to them on Friday, but heard nothing since.

Have to be honest and say that's a toughie for me...
He down-tooled in my eyes. No matter what the provocation, he was being paid to play for Cardiff City FC but didn't, so will never get a 'welcome' back from me
However, we are in desperate times up front and if he were to come and put a shift in (something he is more than capable of) it would go some way to repairing the damage he caused when his ambition outweighed his perceived talent...

Didn't we read there was a restriction on us paying 'loan' wages?
If so, Keiffer Moore would be well out of our League at full cost and could surely attract interest from higher Championship clubs?
Can't see it happening, as he is a regular for Bournemouth; and he is neither bald or has a beard...
Sat Jan 28, 2023 9:23 pm
He’s been in their squad for every single game this season and is their joint leading goalscorer!!!
Why on earth would they want to loan him out????
Sat Jan 28, 2023 9:26 pm
It ain't going to happen

Probably not.
But just enquiring was a good positive move.
Sat Jan 28, 2023 9:36 pm
Definitely a yes for me,he can head a ball further than Etete can kick one.
Apparently he has been liking CCFC on instagram.

We couldn't pay more than his wages at the parent club

Thanks, Wez...

I would.
I didn't blame him one bit for leaving us. We weren't going to take him to the Premier.
I would be surprised if this happened though.

I get what you’re saying and I hate it when players clearly down tools(so annoying as a paying fan). But can you remember Gunnasson doing the same(couldn’t trap a bag of cement or pass water) under one manager and then finds form when a new one comes in ….It happens unfortunately.
Don’t know if any truth in it but I think we would be much closer to safety with him.
Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:11 pm
Yes,he scores goals which is something we don't often manage.
Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:25 pm
No on principle, felt he was on some sort of work to rule after the collapse of the alleged transfer before joining Bournemouth.. .. or Bale if he comes a knocking ..

I agree. I was really critical about how he performed after the Wolves move fell through. There is no real excuse for that.
But in retrospect, maybe Moore was one of the players that did not get on with Morison? I was a Morison fan but he certainly upset a few players/staff in his time.
No way we’ll get him on loan, Bournemouth clearly rate him as he still gets plenty of game time.
Shame, because if he did come back he and Robinson would be some partnership !!
Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:31 pm
Scores goals in shit teams. He'd be perfect. Can't see it though
Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:44 pm
He’s a C Bomb so he can rot in Bournemouth reserves.

Chris we cannot pay any loan players more than they are being paid by the parent club, whatever wages he is on I cannot see us being prepared to pay his full wages
Sat Jan 28, 2023 11:50 pm
Agree with sven 100%.
After the way he left of have major concerns about his motivation.
On a side note we should never have let him go so cheaply as we normally do. Look how Brighton are treating Caicedo. Told him to stay at home til tuesday. Arsenal have now upped their bid. All these lazy arses should either be put in the reserves or in Moore's case should have been told to keep playing in a nice way and we could have sold him in the summer. Hes a 20 goal a season striker in the lower divisions and worth struggling to keep until the price goes up.
Ramsey I'll never forget we sold for buttons when there was a bidding war between arsenal, Liverpool and man utd. Again holding on for a bit especially in his case could have meant big money for the club. Unless of course it's Kenneth zahore where it someone offers £8million you drive him there yourself!

Money there to bring in a player or 2 + - On loan /free .
Sun Jan 29, 2023 8:13 am
No for me. He downed tools and sulked when he wanted away. He’s paid very well do a job and should have been professional about it.
Sun Jan 29, 2023 8:51 am
Nope, can't be doing with sulkers and also thought we were under semi embargo?

Great post Chris and you've nailed exactly my thoughts. Any employee who decides, for whatever reason, that he/she is bigger than the company, is lost. For this reason I would not welcome Kieffer back.

As fans I don't think we can take the moral high ground over this as our plight is desperate at the moment. If this story is a goer of which I'm doubtful then we need all the help we can get, A lot will also depend on how keen his parent club are to loan him out and I don't think there will be any shortage of takers if he is available which also means we are not in a position to dictate any terms.
