As shown by the Sam Allardyce debacle the odds from the bookies give absolutely no indication whatsoever of who the club is or isn't going to appoint.

If I were a betting man I'd be lumping on Whitehead because for me the club are making absolutely no attempt to appoint anybody else.

That would be a very positive move, but sadly I think the poster above is right.

If he is going to appoint Whitehead, as I suspect he will, do it sooner rather than later and stop playing round.

Regarding the announcement of Whitehead, which was subsequently pulled by the club, is anyone of the opinion that Whitehead actually told the club that he doesn't want the job whn the club simply assumed he would take it?

Made brentford a quality side up the top end of the table in championship.
Promoted from the championship with villa and kept them up in the premiership comfortably.

Totally agree.

If they pull this off, hats off to them.
Just hope he can get 2 or 3 in before closure.
Obviously he got more time for unattached players but not many of them going this time of year.
