Well a loan, that's the only way we'll get him - but we might struggle if his club want a loan fee.

My understanding is that the remaining embargo is a timing thing because we have to wait 30days. Surely we can sign on loan with a deal to buy once any embargo is lifted...

My understanding is and to clarify where the club are now in terms of transfers. The "full transfer" embargoes imposed by FIFA and EFL have been overturned after the first part of the Sala transfer fee was paid BUT we still cannot pay a fee for players until 2024!! (free transfers and loanees only). Cardiff needed to pay the first instalment of the Sala fee to Nantes within thirty days of the EFL embargo being imposed, the failure to do that means that restrictions are still in place.
