i was told he was approached before they even sacked Hudson before Xmas. I would take him in a heart beat .

Yep, he would not only be a safe appointment for this season, he could also take us forward in the longer term.

I would be surprised if he came though unfortunately.

We all have differing views on tan, but I think we all agree he needs to butt out of daily team affairs and tactics
I am sure that appointing someone like wilder would be an indication that this is happening as I am sure his legal people would ensure a tidy payoff if he walked due to meddling

This would be a quality and solid appointment and he would definitely keep us up I think, especially if he adds some attacking players

Why not offer him til the end of the season and if it suits both parties sort a long term.This seems winner/winner.

Looks like a non starter then unfortunately.

Can't see what assurances Tan could give that would tempt Wilder and I'm very doubtful he'd be willing to give such assurances in any event.

Many potential managers are probably feeling exactly the same way.

Like any business owner Tan wants to be in charge and if we we own a company we would also The problem football is like no other business I can think of
It takes a brave man to invest many millions and leave other people to make all the decisions . Not sure Tan has that in him

A simple thought for Mr tan and its not focket science.

As much as I would love Chris Wilder to come to us, I think we have more chance of getting Gene Wilder sadly

Really hope the club move soon both with this and then in transfer market. It would be nice to have something positive to debate

Yes Annis I have said all along that he was in talks with Dalman and Dalman has now said that he was in regular contact with Warnock, when saying previously that he had no contact with him for over two years.
Warnock did turn us down, but it would not surprise me to see that change
At last City are looking for an experienced manager, lets hope it will be a good choice, although I have not much faith in that happening
