Unrealistic expectations

The last time we went up was probably the worst thing that happened to CCFC. Tan probably thought you can achieve things on a shoestring. Now we are in a situation where no sane individual is going to shell out 100 million plus for a football club in freefall. The club will sink to division 2 at this rate. We are stuck with Tan a man who thought he was buying a burger franchise. I hate to say it I cannot see a way out the whole situation is dreadful.

Can't agree with that. Apart from it being great for (most) supporters and the club itself, you can't say that Vincent Tan didn't support Neil Warnock, so by default the club; or can you?
The machinations of the Sala affair were a major catalyst for what occurred during the season (remembering we weren't allowed a replacement 'in the interest of fairness' to the other clubs who had no issue under the circumstances) but that set aside, we still spent money
I don't know why we have seemingly slowed (not stopped) spending money on players and/or managers but I would hazard a guess that it will be to do with the ongoing Sala litigation, the cost of which is no small sum to any Championship club

Personally I don't like the Premier league with all the diving and snowflake players also think the bubble will burst soon with the disgusting ammounts of money being thrown around.
That said a lot of fans have waited their whole lives to get there its a shame but IMHO 1. MM was setting us up to fail ( before the sack ) with his tactics. 2.NW should have been replaced straight after promotion by someone like Thomas Frank or similar.
