You rarely hear about Cardiff players watching their team in

You rarely hear about Cardiff players watching their team in the away end. Whether it rarely happens or it's just kept on the hush-hush is unknown.

So it was heartening to see Ollie Tanner make a trip to Elland Road to watch the third round FA Cup replay against Leeds United on Wednesday night.

Tanner, 20, made his second competitive outing for Cardiff against Leeds in the first instalment of this fixture at Cardiff City Stadium earlier this month.

He then travelled to York City that night to sign a loan with the Non League side until the end of the campaign. He made his debut for the club at the weekend in the FA Trophy against Chelmsford on the weekend.

Acorn was in the away end at Upton Park for our first Premier game.

Good on him Annis. I like Tanner, he looked very lively against Villa and may have something about him. Good club for him to toughen up with, and hopefully we see a player ready for the 1st team next season. Tan Out!!!!!!!

Fair play to Tanner, really hoping it works out for him with us.
Hopefully he becomes an important cog in our engine in future along with the likes of Mc Guinness and Colwill :bluebird:

Huge shame that Tanner never got given the playing time he deserved at Cardiff. When I saw him against villa he was the best player alongside etete. He has got the potential but never been able to show it off. Shame

Aston Villa was an exhibition game.

When Tanner came on against Leeds he looked like a parks player, Etete wouldn't get a start at Wrexham; both are nowhere near ready for the championship.
