Believe that an older head needs to work with new managers but not necessarily D o F ..
Maybe a bluff but seemed to definitely rule himself out

The only change of style is continually losing at home

Talks about what? The weather, social issues, holiday homes in Wales, a job back at the club?
As previously stated, I understand the latter and this undoes some of the negativity towards those of us who said he was here, despite denials to the contrary
A cagey lot at our club; and Neil Warnock is a master of deflection himself...

Did you hear the interview? You do realise he was being sarcastic when he said he was at the training ground ? In the same sentence he said that he had to laugh at some of the stories he had read.
Why twist this post now to suggest that he was at the Vasle and that the club had lied about it?

You are off again, there is no suggestion off Sven that he was at the vale, only in your head

Keith, I did hear the interview 'live' and I alluded to both parts you mention in my original post, so not sure what you feel I got wrong...?
Was it sarcastic? I didn't take it that way but I guess it's open to interpretation; the main crux here being that you feel the club would have told you if contact had been made, whilst others have been told by usually reliable people that contact has been made
It's all a game of hit-and-miss when posting on such matters and when our club's custodians are so poor at supporter relations, it is not difficult to hide many facets of the inner circle's dealings
The vehemence of many on here to say Neil Warnock is not on the 'wanted' list is only matched by those who believe he is (or at least was)

Firstly, just to make clear that I don`t believe everything that the club says about various matters. Their in house communications team are not great and their external communication with fans is generally awful.
In the case of the Neil Warnock alleged meeting however my opinion is based on the fact that the club Chair was willing to clearly state, in writing, that he had not met with Neil Warnock at the Vale or anywhere else for years. The alternative opinion is based only on a claim by an anonymous person that another "reliable source" anonymous person that a meeting took place.
Subsequently Neil Warnock has also said that no such meeting took place.
