“The sacking of Mark Hudson as Cardiff City manager yesterday is hardly surprising given the recent run of dreadful performances and results. We wish him well for the future.

However. it does raise at least one important question and that is who advises the club’s owner on who to appoint as manager and what football experience and knowledge does that person/those people have?

The club seems to lurch from one short-term (failed) attempted “fix” to another, both on and off the pitch.

The practical difficulty the club faces is that the owner Vincent Tan is the sole decision maker and does not appear to listen to advice from his board members even if they are prepared to express an opinion to him.

Sadly, the owner appears to have little regard for the opinions of those fans who offer a counter view to his own. Mr Tan should never forget that the fans are the lifeblood of our club.

This latest episode once again illustrates the vital need for far greater supporter involvement in football clubs as will be proposed by the UK Government in its White Paper due to be published shortly.

The club is unlikely to move forward in a positive manner unless some or all of the above issues are resolved, and quickly.”

The tiny minority who refuse to target Tan in any way shape or form are being cut so far adrift.

And lets get this 'club bashing' statement out of the way once and for all. Tan IS the club as I have mentioned earlier and as owner should be held accountable. The vast majority are not club bashing they are saying 'enough is enough'

Tan wants out more than we want him out. Those who defend Tan should help him to go, he'd be far more appreciative of that.

I think tan should sell up I've said it for months unless he's going to invest more but crying like a babies ain't going to get rid of him , hard cash from a new buyer will and no one has made the proper amount a offer for 40 million which is laughable was put in apparently recently, Derby were bought out of administration for just over 80 million in total , who ever wants it will need at least that amount . I heard tan wants 100 million straight money and he will walk away from the club also writing off his debt owed to him , so buyers need to step up .

You’ve received a warning, I understand your frustration as I know the usual suspects just do this to wind City fans up, it hurts, but I won’t have that type of language.

I’ve defended Mr Tan over the years and we have a lot (in the past) to be grateful for. But I really think we would benefit from new owners now.

In the meantime, let’s try to engage with him in a constructive manner - hurling abuse at him is unnecessary and not going to work. Any man a rich as him is bound to be thick skinned and impervious to it.

Until a rich consortium comes along, we have to work with Mr Tan to try to see if he will do the best for the club. Let’s have some sensible ideas and dialogue on here.

I’ve defended Mr Tan over the years and we have a lot (in the past) to be grateful for. But I really think we would benefit from new owners now.

They then need to appoint a decent Manager and only then will it look like a worthwhile investment.
