" Vincent Tan has a Plan "

Cardiff City have a big fan base and massive potential but need help to stop managerial revolving door hitting people on way out

The Bluebirds sacked Mark Hudson on Saturday night and the hunt is now on for their third manager of the season

VINCENT TAN:

"I hear talk that we have no plan. Do you honestly think I would have put in so much of my money if I had no plan? Do you think we are idiots?" he said firmly.

Mark Hudson learned on Saturday night that his time as Cardiff City manager was up.

It's a conversation the board have had with their manager far too frequently in recent years. Next week, this reporter will sit in front of his sixth manager in four seasons. At the time of writing, that is Dean Whitehead, however that could rapidly change, too.

Vincent Tan back in November took umbrage with the notion that some people questioned whether the club had a plan, due to the seemingly haphazard nature of managerial appointments and player recruitment.

VINCENT TAN:

"I hear talk that we have no plan. Do you honestly think I would have put in so much of my money if I had no plan? Do you think we are idiots?" he said firmly.

"Do you think I would be putting in money every month, particularly during the pandemic, if I didn't want success?"

"My plan is to take us up to the Premier League and stay there for at least ten years."

Well, two months on and Cardiff City fans up and down the country are once again scratching their heads. If this is the plan, then it's either a bad one or it's not working. Everyone can agree on that.

It is understandable to a degree that the higher-ups at Cardiff have their eyes elsewhere. They hoped the football would take care of itself when they battled a hat-trick of lawsuits over the last year or so and lost everyone costing the club millions, the most financially onerous of which, the Emiliano Sala case, they are still right in the thick of.

Do you think we are idiots?" That’s very easy to answer……love to know the plan with Morrison last summer, clearout the cloggers and try a new style of play, 17 players in and gone by November…..nice plan Vince.

I've always supported Tan, but it is time for a change now.

He decided to buy a football club and now complains about putting money in. "Of course we have a plan" well of course you must realise now that with football clubs money flows out more than it flows in. You're not making a profit out of this.

Sell to the highest bidder and move on, it'll be what it will be.

How many English billionaires own English clubs? Ridiculous answer anyway, you need a bit of money but you need to know how to run a club more….Jenkins had no money at swansea for example.

Goats

There was talk of a rich welshman who was finishing with west ham who was looking to buy recently on the forum

Tan maybe a billionaire businessman but he has no idea how to run a football club

The decisions and appointments he has personally made have cost him millions and millions of pounds

It defies belief that a multi million pound business his own football club have a tax exile chairman who lives thousands of miles away and a ceo who has another job selling cars and is never at the club to oversea the day to day running of it

If he does have a plan it’s not a very good one

Presuming Tom Ramasut gets the next go until it ends up with one of the programme sellers or a steward.

I hope Tom doesn’t get it to be honest, nice guy, local lad and I know his sisters. Wouldn’t want to see him treated so badly.

That’s sadly how it looks and unbelievable the jokes that are being said about us, yet they are so near to the truth.

I think we are going to continue to make the same mistakes, VT main goal is now to keep us in the championship with the squad we have, which is achievable. As much as I disagreed with you previously in the VT out question, I really do think now he has no interest other than to sell when it suits him regardless of the outcome to the club, as long as they are in the Championship. Dalman is going to continue to pump out bullshit and if Warnock is on the radio saying he wont be coming to City then does then he is another one who cannot be believed. Bamba and Warnock are not the answer.

Complete clearout is needed by Tan, but maybe he cant get rid of Dalman as if he does, he will have to pay him off and also the debt to Dalman could possibly rest on him being there and if he was sacked VT has to pay up.

I still think we will go down as the teams below us we have made look good tbh.

I think Mr Tan knows all to well that ( 1.) He has been getting bad advice and (2.) He has had millions of his money wasted on players, agents, fees etc but is too aloof to lose face as changing things now will show him as weak.

As we know Monty, Tan wants to sell us. Wrong appointment and he can't do this because we'll be a League 1 team.
