Time to try a foreign manager?

Sun Jan 15, 2023 11:27 am

We all know what's been going and how the current regime is being run, but do you reckon it is time/ or would you like to have a foreign manager, thoughts?

Nobody over the top or too pricey obviously. But managers like Slavisa Jokanovic, Shota Arveladze for example.

Dream foreign managers on higher pay would be Marco Silva, Gus Poyet, Di Matteo or Rafa.
(Don't know if anyone mentioned is in or out of work by the way)

Nope it's not the time, got to get this appointment right. Your list is mad by the way, Marco Silva has led Fulham to the top end of the Prem League, its officially the best start by a newly promoted championship team since 2005. I suspect he won't be tempted.

Obviously Marco Silva wouldn't come, hense the word 'dream'.
Yes it's a mad list, we need to make a 'mad' appoint. Otherwise it might aswell carry on as it is.
We need a higher calibre coach compared to the recent few we have had, it doesn't take a genius to work that out. Let's just hope the board does.

Do Matteo had 1 good season in the championship, he came back with Villa and ultimately failed, we need to go for a young up and coming manager that will rebuild this club Evan if we where to be relegated

Rebuild in league 1 you are mad look how long it took Sunderland we go to league 1 we are there for a very long time we need a good manager in now and stop the rot

If we stay up and we have a good manager then watch the improvements in these players we already have

League 1?would be a complete disaster ….never understood the Philosophy that relegation gives you the chance to rebuild …there’s no guarantee you will come back up
