Everton have decided to recall Cardiff City loanee Niels Nkounkou and loan him back out to French side St Etienne.

Everton were not happy by how little gave timing Niels was having at Cardiff.

Could potentially be loaned out to France, as per reports over there

Didn’t get the opportunities as his defending was awful.
Might have tried him further forward, but not really time for experiments.

Was blocking Bagan’s development too ( who I’d rate above him anyway)

Don’t like to say it, but it’s better he’s gone, hopefully we can put his wages to better use.

Might suit him better elsewhere anyway.

At least that frees up a squad place for new player.
Shame as he was so exciting going forward, but frightening at defending.
And it’s robbed us of O’Dowdas attacking presence where he’s had to slot in at full back.
