New Targets?
"We have got targets. We know that. I’m not going to talk about players who are at clubs at the moment. If there’s availability and it strengthens us and brings good characters in the building.
That’s obviously something that’s been well published, we need a goal threat. We did well in the Leeds game with what we’ve been working on.
But if there’s someone out there we think can help us score goals we will look at it for sure.
There are players out there. There’s always going to be interest from other clubs.
We are in the process of looking at it for a while. They have to have good characters in. If it can be done we will look at it."

Why do you need more players after 17 signings?
"That’s always the question! When you’re recruiting to bring in that amount of players in the summer. We were left with nine pros. We had to build a squad. Whether you get those right or they fit into your way of playing, but the lads have been brilliant.
If there is someone coming in they have to come into that dressing room and make a difference."

Bluebirds looking to add a 'goal threat' this month
Mark Hudson wants to add more "goal threat" to his squad this month after Cardiff City were given the go ahead to start chasing their transfer targets this month.
The club had been subjected to a transfer embargo in this window, owing to the ongoing dispute over paying the first instalment of the Emiliano Sala transfer fee to Nantes.
Cardiff this week paid that money, believed to be around £7m, and the transfer embargoes have been lifted. The EFL's transfer embargo is in two parts, meaning Cardiff are able to trade in this window, however they are only able to bring in loan players and free transfers.
FIFA's criteria for their ban to be lifted has also been satisfied, however Cardiff are still waiting for the official green light before they can get to work, but Hudson said the club have "got the go ahead to explore options" in the market.
"It's a relief, gives people a lift, I would imagine," Hudson said of the embargoes being lifted. "And we can look forward to what we can look at target-wise and see if we can strengthen.
