Barnsley boss Michael Duff has confirmed Max Watters could make his debut off the bench during this weekend's clash with Charlton.
The striker has sealed a move to the League One side until the end of the season, but Duff said he is only fit to sit on the bench this weekend.
Duff said of Watters: "He will be involved on Saturday. He's not fit to start; I don't think I am telling any major secrets there.
"He has been short of football, he's not had a lot of minutes anyway - he's been ill and injured for the last month.
"But he's been training with us and had a good week's training, which is what we wanted and we have not scored a goal in the last two games. So he will definitely add to the group."
