“He is a player I’ve known for a long time and I have followed his progress closely. I know Mark Hudson well, and he gave us a glowing character recommendation to combine with his football talent. I think he will add variety to our attack and is also an exciting player who I’m sure the fans will enjoy watching."

He added: "Ollie is a player I knew from when he was coming through at Arsenal, he has had experience of playing in this league with Bromley and did really well with Lewes last year. He has attracted a lot of attention from big clubs. He turned down a move from Tottenham Hotspur in January.

“The connection has come from Mark Hudson who was my interim manager in our time together at Huddersfield (Town). I spoke to him about his character and his performances because we know he’s a good player and how he has been in training and in the first team and he said that he would be available for loan."

“We asked if can we take him, Mark said yes no problem because he feels as if Ollie is coming into a good environment here because obviously he knows myself. He is a player that gives us attacking variety, he can predominantly play on the left, he can also play as a 10 and he can also play on the right or as a false nine. I’d say anywhere across the front three.”

At 21 and being loaned out to York he’s obviously not good enough to make it at Championship level. Who scouted, recommended approved the decision to buy him ?

He’s shown flashes of ability and still might yet make a decent championship player

What I’m really disappointed with him is that his fitness levels look no where near good enough to be a professional footballer

This is very surprising considering he has been with us 6 months and is only 21 years old..he should be fitter!!

Well with 17 new signings and us being where we are in terms of performance and league positioning, those that know better aren’t making a very good fist of it are they?

CV not needed, just open your eyes and stop being deluded by those in the club that only think inside the box to meet their own ends that pull and push the levers on the puppet strings for those that are paid to do and say as they are told.
