Josh Murphy, who was playing for Oxford v Arsenal in the FA Cup at the Kassam Stadium last night , picks up £5,100 per week approx - that is £20,000 LESS than he was picking up at Cardiff - a four-year Bluebirds contract ending only last summer.

Cardiff paid Norwich a then club record £11m for the 23-year-old in 2018 - giving the player to Oxford for nothing four years later.

Lots of bonuses added to that if he does well.

Missed a penalty on his debut. But has been playing well when he starts but if he comes on as sub no so much.

Manager says he’s the best player in the division if fit and firing. Can’t argue with that.

Murphy's only 2nd start since august last year nothing changed there then.

He started in their 3-1 win v Charlton and was their best player.

Oxford managed Karl Robinson is doing his best to work on his confidence.

I’m struggling to think of a single Warnock signing that we actually made money on !!??

Can anyone think of one of his signings we sold for more money or even got our money back on ?

We got our money back on Reid and Zohore
Arter Camarasa were loans.
We got our moneys worth out of Sol and Junior and Mendez Lang.
We spent peanuts by Premier league standards.
Did you really think we would stay up on the lowest budget in the Premier league ?

Warnock didn’t sign Zohore he was already here (signed Feb 2016).

No doubt Warnock made good signings but also made very little which is important for clubs like ours.

You also forgot the £6m on Madine !!

By the way, I still think we would have stayed up if the Sala accident hadn’t happened.

Warnock made us, £110 million or there abouts for fcuk sake. There's only one manager made City anywhere near that. Malky.

He did not make us £110m we got that for being in the premier league after he had spent near £100 m on transfers and agents fees while with us Plus the wages on top of that Let’s not pretend he made us £110 m However he is still a city legend to me
