Well said Wez. The pundits were all complementary too, that was our second choice squad and you could see they had a point to prove and as you say, Leeds have got quality and are decent.

I'm really pleased we competed today for a win, as the cup games have usually been a non priority in recent years. That performance will give the squad and the fans a lift and it was nice to see Huds with a smile on his face in the post match interview.

If we play with that sort of commitment in the league we will be OK.

It was definitely an improvement and a better watch. We appeared to show spirit and courage today, which has been missing for a long time.

Huds gave a brief but good interview and said that Wigan is the priority. That display has given him some food for thought which is no bad thing.

We all know we’re not in the best of places at the moment but hopefully that’ll shut up the constant whinging, whining, moaning and constant droning on and on about the same negativity on here.

Was a really good game, lots of fight in the lads. Now we need to bounce off this performance and put the same desire into the league matches

Yes a great effort by the players today. A shame we couldnt hang on at the end, but we could easily have lost it as well.
Leaving aside opinions about team choice and tactics etc etc….. what all our fans demand is committment and effort. We got that today, so, well done lads

Yes he can be excellent or awful. Worth a go tho, if nothing else to show fringe players that there’s a way to the first team if they perform.

Plus its brought in a few £ hundred thousands from tv and gate receipts etc

Plus we had £150,000 from our home Championship game v QPR on Boxing Day and another £150,000 coming up v Reading.

Plus I think we get 45% of the gate from the replay. I'm sure there will be a decent crowd for it.

Flew back in yesterday for the game - glad I made the effort.

Cracking performance first half. Second half tired legs, Marsch freshening things up and we were not quick enough to react to the changes but can take a lot of positives from the game.

Now we have to put in the same performance in the league, at least from that we know the players are still playing for Hudson.
