Mc Guinness

Glad he's coming back in the form he is in and with some more development. But a part of me thinks he should see out his entire loan with Wednesday.

If he's developing well, with good momentum we should let him stay there and carry on the way he is so he can return an even better player than he is now.

Instead of coming back to this current circus, it's just going to ruin what he's got going for him at the minute. I get that we are in a dog fight and it's better to have more options, but it's not as if we are short of centre backs. Simpson and especially Nelson have to pull their socks up because if they did we wouldn't have to recall Mark.

I hope I'm wrong, but Mark coming back is just going to slow his development down

Hes our player and we need him. He was outstanding tonight against Newcastle. Won every header and tackle. I can see why Sheff Wed fans have been raving about him. I am really excited to have him back. He will also offer a big threat at set pieces. Much needed as we have been pathetic with corners and free kicks this year. He will win stuff in the box and potentially score goals too. He really will be like a new signing in the window.

He will not be coming back. He will get sold this window.

It's shame after helping Wednesday through to the next round of the FA Cup he misses out on further chances of success he's now out of the FA Cup and back to a team with only a fight to avoid relegation to look forward to some prospect for him. Cardiff should let him stay not wreck his season. Why he was sent out in the first place baffles me, idiotic decision by Morison or Tan to save money.

Got the feeling that might happen , the commentary was on about Prem clubs looking .

Yeah the kid is having a great season. How can our rubbish club be so nasty as to recall him when he's obviously enjoying himself so much elsewhere. We'll undo all the good work that Sheff Wed has done with him. We should be ashamed of ourselves for being so selfish....

Ffs he is being brought back to help us stay in the league. Get your priorities straight.

I was indeed being sarcastic. Not like me but I was at peed off with some saying he should stay at Wednesday, which given our current plight is plainly ridiculous.

Looks like he plays in a 3 at Wednesday, coming back to play in a 2 with Kipre hopefully it won’t impact his form.

Hudson could try 3 at the back but somehow we always end up too defensive with the wing backs getting pressed back and we lose control of midfield

We could make a bit of money out of a player who was out of our plans start of season.

Or he goes into our team and improves us.

Either way we have done well and used the loan system really well here.

Somehow it will get slanted by Barclay to slate Tan.

You could argue that a stint in L1 was exactly what he needed. I liked the look of him when he played for us and I expect he'll be a future captain wherever he ends up playing. He did make a few mistakes when playing for us though. Probably a combination of playing in a poor team and his inexperience. Now hes got 6months experience and full of confidence. Hopefully he can come back and have the same effect flint had last season when he returned from being on loan.

Definitely should let him stay at Wednesday afterall. Especially with the good performances from Nelson and Simpson on Sunday :bluebird:

The majority on here have historically slated nelson. Yes he had a good game on Sunday and I really hope he's turned a corner but I wouldn't use that to make a decision between him and McGuiness. Think back to previous games and how many goals we conceded that he was accountable for.
That said I have always liked his attitude, throw himself Infront of every ball, takes no shit of opposition and gives 110 percent
