CCFC FANS MEETING TOMORROW / SO PLEASE

Sat Jan 07, 2023 5:43 pm

Meeting tomorrow great opportunity for City fans to ask :

(1) Can DALMAN confirm that Tan will continue to support the Club financially no matter what ?Irrespective of where we are in the league and irrespective of the situation with the payment to Nantes if we have to pay it ?

(2) Can he explain the transfer embargo very clearly ! Where we are ? + what can we do about it ? + what result do we expect ?

(3) Rumor is that Tan really wants to sell the Club and that he Dalman is very much involved and is talking to agents and middlemen ….and prospective buyers.

(4) rumor is that he (his company) is owed £30 million which is a big jump from the last accounts . Is this true ? Does it mean that he now has far more influence over Tan than before ?

(5) Suing the insurance broker seems a bit far fetched looking from the outside ….. are we now clutching on straws ?

(6) could we be suing other people or companies over the Sala thing ?

(7) Hudson’s pisition safe ?

(8) When is our appeal to the Swiss Federal Court being heard …….and what are the consequences if things go against us ?

(9) There are well founded rumors that you are tired from being Chairman and have been so for some time … but that you are only continuing to do it because of your relationship with Tan and as a favor to Tan … albeit for a financial consideration .

(10) Tan said he has committed over £200 million . If you add your loan plus other loans plus normal trading creditors plus the Nantes payment (if we are forced to pay it) ……. The total can be well over £250 million more like £300 million .

This is really all Tan’s personal exposure and responsibility .

What is the real figure ? How concerned are you ?

Regarding the embargo .

Ok so FIFA say 3 window embargo .

Does that mean if we pay Nantes the embargo will be lifted (as per the EFL rules ). If so then it makes no sense at all to have 1 ,2,3 or any number ie window embargo …..

if we pay the embargo is off ….if we don’t it stays ….. there is no significance for the 3 . Your explanation may be right but appears to be incomplete.

One further clarification on the embargo ….. to be added to the embargo question .

How did the Club management allow the embargo to happen in the first place ?

Who is responsible ?

Question:

(11) Choo is our CEO and is ultimately the one responsible to have insured Sala from the first second . OK we are now suing the brokers ….but is not Choo really the one responsible ?

What are the plans with the managers role. Twice they've gone cheap option

1. Morison who they felt wasn't good ebkugh.who wasn't given enough time.
2. Hudson with a 15% win rate, which isn't good enough. But being given too much time.

Appoint a new young manager (bamba for arguments sake) with a DoF like warnock?

Appoint a manager with a track record?

Hopefully he gets given a hard time of it. Absolute parasite. Gutted the Charlton purchase fell through. The sooner he's gone the better.

Nearly everyone going to the meeting either has an office there or a job there or need the club for things.

It should be a couple of hundred season tickets holders and an amicable meeting.

Let’s just see if these questions are answered.

Keith Morgan, Corky , Vince and even Dalman have all of these questions.

Plus all the reporters

Posting from another thread:

Somebody should push him on why he stated the funds were set aside for Sala while now stating there are no funds to pay for Sala.

He should be called out on his lies.

If it's anything like the last one, the outcome will be something like "everything is great; we support the club's decisions" so I am not too hopeful.

He probably will. It will all come out in the end though. Still, I hope he isn't given an easy ride.

Hi Annis
I would like to attend the meeting, I am not sure if I would be permitted, however my question comes in 2 parts

1. Have Cardiff City/Vincent Tan have the means to pay the Sala monies in the next month?
2. Have Cardiff City/Vincent Tan got a realistic plan to resolve this crisis if not are we facing administration

A straight answer is required on both

Sadly it’s for those that Dalman / Choo choses only can attend , shocking really.

Can you ask about Tans health, he was seen recently in Cardiff with his own private medical team during his travels, if you was perfectly health you wouldn't do this.

Can someone please ask Dalman and the board to stop their circus before we get as far as a winding up order? Or is that their aim?

I for one don't fancy following "AFC Cardiff" and there's no way we'll be allowed in the English league so it'll be TNS away before we know it

Tan needs to start telling the fans what’s really going on?

Re: CCFC FANS MEETING TOMORROW / SO PLEASE

Sun Jan 08, 2023 9:51 am

I’ve been a big defender of Tan due to his promises about making us debt free, he has taken measures to make this happen and that can’t be denied. He also gets slated whatever he does so the current hyperbole is nothing new and there is plenty of reasons to have a go at him so we don’t need extra reasons to which many on here do. However I cannot defend him currently apart from the feeling I have we have been worse off (verge of administration/court).

But I will make a promise here and now.

If we go into administration under Tan or even if we end up in the high court for non payment of tax etc (as we have done before) I will allow myself to be put into stocks at the stadium and I’ll wear a Tan mask and a red shirt and anyone who wants to can throw anything they want at me.

That was my line and if he goes past that I’m done.

Re: CCFC FANS MEETING TOMORROW / SO PLEASE

It’s time for the truth, no more shite, us fans deserve the truth what is really going on. I have travelled down today once again, why can’t we meet these members of the board, why the chosen few?

Re: CCFC FANS MEETING TOMORROW / SO PLEASE

Sun Jan 08, 2023 10:11 am

Please ask Tan, if business is built around honour, how is letting a football club die honourable? How is leting a whole community down honourable. How is using a club like a toy, then throwing it away in the corner, when there are fans who have supported the club their whole life, honourable?

Sell the club, get at least some of your investment back, save face.

Do the honourable thing.

Can you ask Tan, what do Dalman and Choo actually do? They work in London, how does that help our club?

Some great questions in there, Annis

Sadly, as stated above, all the invited have a vested interest in not upsetting the apple cart by asking such sensibly relevant and pertinent questions

It's disappointing but I guess when the club are picking and choosing their verbally non-confrontational audience (I note Dibs was not invited again ;) ) to listen rather than question, it becomes a press release rather than a meeting

Be interesting to see what comes out of it but looks like 'spin' will be King (again) :(

I'm not expecting much from this and agree with all the above but if anyone sees a summary from those who were at the meeting, could you post it up please?
