Seems even in an embargo we are sending players out on loan and players highly rated yet not given a chance of first team football with us.
Sending strikers out on loan is a joke how can any of them be worse than Harris yet every week he's there how can any of the others do any worse he seem to mistake the corner flags for the goal posts surley some of the under 23s should be ready if not they never will make it in the championship.
Iv never known so many players suffering injuries and taking so long to get fit again by the time they are are ready to play it will be time for the summer holidays.

It’s like a Chinese puzzle, for me if they are scoring in the u23 ie crole, give the lad a chance.
Last January we recalled all players who were needed for the relegation scrap, this season we are letting everyone go.
Madness

I expect is orders from Tan to save more money
He likes to save money yet not keen on paying his debts. Not paying the Sala fee is an utter discrace. This finding more and more excuses to pay is getting very boring time it was sorted out once and for all

These players are on peanuts so it's not saving money.

Youngsters go out on loan to gain experience. Players who aren't playing but want to be playing go out on loan to get minutes. Players not in the managers plans go out on loan to save on wages. What's not to get?

State the obvious why don't you. But not when the first team are not performing what have we got to loose they can't do any worse. Players going out to low league and non league sides where is the experience to gain in that? Carry on and that's where we will be going. As far as I'm concerned it's a TAN the dictator saying what to do. Save more money.

Why are you questioning it if it's stating the obvious? Youngsters gain experience by being loaned out to teams in the leagues below parent club. How many players have we had drop down from prem? The main benefit these youngsters get from these loans is the physical side of the game and the intensity. Its why players look like world beaters in youth games and then completely disappear when making the step up. If players aren't going to play, why not save money? Would you rather the club pay their wage to sit in the stands?

From premier league to championship OK but from championship to bottom of non league football what will that gain them? Sorry I disagree.

It gains them league experience against players that are used to physicality albeit in the lower leagues, it’s better than staying in an under 18 or under 21 side playing against kids every week. If these players are deemed not ready or not good enough to step up to our first team in the championship then it’s a great way to enhance their development to make the step up to the senior team.

Plenty of prem players playing below championship on loan to gain experience.
Technical ability is drilled into these kids from a young age.You don't get the physicality needed for championship football playing academy football. If your 20+ and being loaned out to lower leagues, chances are your not championship standard anyway so no point hanging on to them or playing them for the sake of it. But if an 18 year does well in conference/L2 then his next move should be league 1 if he's still not ready for championship football. We sent Earnie to a Scottish division 2 club and look what that did for him.
Tanners case is a bit different as he didn't have the coaching the others academy players had. The conference is several leagues above what he was playing last season. A midtable L2 club came in for him but the club opted for York instead, probably as they can guarantee him more game time- which is exactly what he needs.

Look how many come back injured. So getting kicked all around the park will help their progress that's rubbish.

What players have come back from loans injured?
Obviously there are exceptions but the majority of players either start their careers at lower leagues and stay there or move up the leagues or they start their careers on loan to gain experience. That's usually how a player progresses to find their level. If a player can't cope with getting kicked around the park in the conference, they've got not hope of making it at championship level. Players are just as physical but they are also technically better as well.

OK so championship players are just as physical but technically better so how does it make players sent out on loan to lowest of league technically better.Surley give them a chance in the first team because let's be fair can they do any worse?

To experience the physical side of the game and the intensity.
Yes, they can do worse. No point playing players for the sake of it. We seen how relying on youngsters went last season. If these players were ready for the championship, championship clubs or at least L1 clubs would have come in for them. Doesn't look like they did. That suggests, to me anyway, they aren't ready to play at this level.

Wez, ????
Months ago when I said that Morison was spending peanuts on these new players and are younger ones were on peanuts, you said that they would be costing us a lot of money over all.
Well your right this time as I said previously many of this squad nowadays are on peanuts.
You pay money and chose right you get class like Callum Robinson and we would be at least in the play offs.
The last few seasons Tans been trying to do each season on peanuts and that’s why every season nowadays we have ended up struggling m.
The one season he even tried to do it with 12 kids brought straight in.
Managers inexperienced and in peanuts as well.
Your right.
