Sad to hear, the club needs us fans. We will be here for longer than any owner and it's up to us to introduce the next generation, nevermind how hard it may be

I disagree. This is THE worst time I have had as a Cardiff city fan since I started going in 1973...

Well this is my 51 consecutive season as a season ticket holder, I would not stop supporting my club No matter who is running it.
As much as I dislike this current Regime, I support my club through good and bad days.
9 years in league 4, those were bad days, I never missed a home or away game.

Samesh kumar - only a few places from going out of the league; Alan Durban - 2 relegations, fire football and a money grabbing chairman.
Times are bad mate but there’s definitely been worse in my time (since 76).

Is is not the worst this club has been in and I am embarrassed so many fans think this is. I have to question where you were when we were really shit. A club is for life not for any owner, manager or player. Only once have I ever considered walking away and that was horrendous and despicable rebrand. I chose to stay and protest and fight for the return of or clubh was broken beyond anything I could have thought at that time.
Take time out reflect and realise city has and will always be part of you and your life. Its a family that only so many football fans can properly relate too.

If you were City since 64, that would be 58 to 59 years

Spot on Andrew, some just like to have a pop at Tan and have an agenda. I couldn’t give a flying f**k who owns us as I support Cardiff City and not the owners and I always will no matter how bad things get.

What great support! I too have nil intention of ceasing my passion for the City. “I’m City till I die” - as the well known ditty states.

Yep, I'm on board with these sentiments
I have been a Bluebird through thick and (mainly over the years) thin and couldn't envisage not being involved with my beloved club. It just doesn't enter my head regardless who is in temporary charge or how the team are doing

PMSL yes the club's a complete pantomime at the moment but still not on a par to the 80s/90s.lets hope it don't sink that low . Cardiff v Middlesbrough ninian park 1985 the old second division crowd 2500 my nephew don't believe even though he's googled it.
Fri Jan 06, 2023 3:47 pm
I completely understand the frustrations of most fans as most will question the point of spending hard-earned money on a season ticket with the club in turmoil.
Of course, the usual candidates will always let us know what great fans they will always be in thick or thin.
However, the reality is that the majority of supporters who have regularly attended matches in the last decade may decide against purchasing a season ticket for next season.(could be less than 10,000 next season.)
Whatever your opinion of them is, it's a result of the sad state of affairs at our football club!

It got worse.
I left the country in 1987 for a couple of decades. My last game there were 1,900 of us. Choose your spot.

Well, if I am one of those '
candidates' that (quote you) "
will always let us know what great fans they will always be in thick or thin", then I accept that label proudly and willingly!
Whilst accepting (
see Wales for evidence) that modernly people only want to be associated with '
success' (or whatever that is), the people who '
stay the course' are the base and backbone of any club, not just ours

I am glad we didn't have the internet in the dungeon years as i sat most of those out. A few games when Tuesday night games or when the parks were off.
I just sculked off quietly and read the echo for reports. All these big protestations are a bit embarrassing, especially when not of the internet age and know that nobody really gives one, whoever you are.
Imagine if you supported Newport, Wrexham, or Merthyr then you'd have something to complain about. No court dates or fear of having to reapply to be in the football league, we owe most of our debt to one man, he'll have to take the loss at some point or roll the dice again.
We are letting players leave who are never going to be first-teamers this season and probably ever. Being relegated is part of the football cycle, it's not having a plan or thinking the plan is BS that is annoying. The fact so many are reported to be leaving is encouraging to me that Vinny realises we are in a bit of a pickle.

Huge respect for those continuing to go, but one by one my group has dropped off over the past few years. Don’t necessarily blame them and the reality is that at this point I think I’d rather spend my Saturdays in the pub watching footy with my mates than what I’m currently spending my Saturdays doing.
Not an “every game” away goer, but do make a respectable amount a season and at the moment thats the only enjoyment I’m getting out of watching Cardiff City as much as it saddens me to say.
