I believe that if we send a player on loan …… it does not mean we can get a player in his place on loan .
The rule says :” A player of professional standing leaving the club on loan does not reduce the number of eligible players the club is deemed to have.” ……… I take that to mean that Watters leaving us on loan does not mean that we can get one instead . That is my take on this matter …..
can someone clarify it better ?

Apparently Hudson said in his last interview that we have a fifa ban meaning we can't bring anyone in, period.
EFL and FA bans are different.

The way I see it we now have a squad of 20 players. We can sign up to 3 more players. If they are loan signings the parent club have to pay all their wages. That ruling will make it very difficult for us to sign the player with the right quality we require.

The parent club do not have to pay the incoming players wages, we cannot pay more than the incoming players salary at there club that's stated in the rules .

Clubs are only permitted to ‘staff up’ by signing players on loan or players not registered with another Club
Clubs cannot pay fees to acquire loan players and cannot pay additional wages on top of the salary the player receives at their parent Club
Clubs ‘staffing up’ may only register players until the end of the current Season, whilst loan transfers can only be for half a season

Looks that way or if we sell a player permanently. We will be able to staff up to 23

That’s how I read it on the EFL site too. Loaning a player out doesn’t take him off the squad.
But there’s so many variations being quoted
