Defender a 'rock' again
Mark McGuinness is currently pulling up trees at Sheffield Wednesday.
Cardiff have no intention of selling him, even though Owls boss Darren Moore has alluded to the League One club potentially asking the question, but it looks unlikely, at the minute, that they will recall the defender this month.
Should that be the case, then Wednesday's promotion prospects will be bolstered because McGuinness is earning rave reviews up at Hillsborough.
He has played 17 games for the Owls this term, starting 15, the most recent of which came in their 5-0 hammering of Cambridge United on Monday.
YorkshireLive, gave him an eight out of 10 player ratings, with the accompanying line: "We may as well copy and paste this section for McGuinness every game. A rock again."
He's making quite the impression.

Got to call Mark McGuinness back, currently on loan at Hillsborough, has won the club's Player of the Month award, voted for by fans, for both November and December.

defence isnt really an issue
We need some creativity and someone to put the ball in the onion bag

Especially as we can't sign players, Warnock will probably stick him up front he'll probably score more than our Strikers

I didn't think we were able to call him back.
He will be ready for next season when kipre has gone anyway

Can we do a swap and get Paterson back?

100% we've got to call him back and put him in a back 4 alongside Kipre, with Ng reverting to right back.
Also O'Dowda's talent is being wasted at left back, he needs to be playing further up the pitch.
We are not scoring because we aren't creating much and one of our better attacking players is taking up a semi defensive role.
Additionally we haven't looked a threat at set pieces so bringing McGuiness back will at least give us a threat and physical presence in the box.
